Absolute Best Challenge Day 44


Happy Mother's Day to all!  May you cherish your day with your Mom.  Appreciate all the love she gives from the depths of her heart whether she is with you in body or in spirit.

Day 44.  We begin a new week of calorie reduction.  We want to share some tools that will help you through the next phase of your transformation.  Hopefully, you have acclimated yourself to eating protein snacks and several small meals per day.  How about your exercise routine?  Have you been exercising most days of the week? Whether you are walking, swimming, taking Mambo Mania classes, Yoga or Pilates, it's important to exercise a minimum of 30 minutes at least 5 days per week.

Coupling your fitness routine with my Metabolic Cure Meal Plan ensures success with resetting your metabolic rate. However, the old behaviors and patterns will try to creep back in and reroute your direction, sabotage your conviction, and destroy your discipline. Here are some tools to assure you stay on track and get to the 90-day finish line:





1.  Breathe!  Make sure you take full deep breaths each time you inhale.  Whether you are at work, at home, exercising, or dealing with a difficult situation, the breath will enhance the movement of energy flowing through your spine to send and receive appropriate communications to your body about how to thrive and survive.
2.  Make time for yourself.  Stop and really feel into yourself.  How is your body feeling?  How about your mind?  Are your thoughts fluid or jumpy?  Are you hungry, angry or tired?  Address your body's needs and you will be able to address your emotional needs.  If you get those two things in check, you will be able to watch your feelings come and go but not become attached to them.
3.  Act on things that will bring you closer to your dreams.  Whatever your passion, if you can dream it, you can do it.  The one caveat is you MUST take action towards your goal every day.  That takes discipline and one of the reasons why we are challenging you for 90 days is to teach you how to do this.  The longer you repeat a behavior, the more it becomes ingrained in your cellular memory and soon, eating right and exercising regularly becomes part of your nature.
